Lisbon airport to city centre
The airport is close to the centre — 20–30 minutes whichever way you go. The choice is about luggage, arrival time and budget.
Metro (cheapest)
Red line from Aeroporto; change to the green or blue line for the Baixa and Avenida. Buy a reusable Navegante card (about €0.50) and load a single fare or Zapping credit. Included in the Lisboa Card.
Carris bus 744 / 783
Regular city buses at the normal fare; slower in traffic and crowded with suitcases. The dedicated Aerobus is reported as discontinued.
Taxi or ride-hailing
About €10–15 to the centre according to the airport, more at night or with lots of luggage. Use the official taxi rank.
Pre-booked transfer
Fixed price, driver waiting in arrivals with your name. Worth it for families, late arrivals or Alfama hotels on streets taxis can't reach easily.
